Grooming Service Policies
Cancellation & No Shows
If you need to cancel your pet’s grooming appointment, we ask that you please give 24 hours notice. This allows us enough time to try to fill your spot.
If you “No Show” for your scheduled appointment, there will be a $10.00 no show fee per dog added to your account to be paid at your next appointment. If you consistently no show, we may require you to either pre-pay for your grooming service or we may be unable to continue to groom your pet. Our students rely on your pets making their appointments. If you no show on a regular basis it hinders their ability to learn.
Appointment Arrival & Pick Up Times
Your pet must arrive on time for their scheduled appointment. Please call if you are running late. If we have not heard from you 15 minutes after your scheduled time, we will call to confirm that you are on your way. If you are 15 or more minutes late, we may have to reschedule your pet’s appointment.
We ask that your pet be picked up as close to their scheduled out time as possible. If you need to leave your pet with us past their pick up time, please let us know. We have limited kennel space and cannot accommodate a large volume of pets. At our discretion, if your pet is unhappy being kenneled, you will need to pick up as soon as they are done.
We are not a boarding facility. If your pet has not been picked up by closing time, there will be a $5.00 late fee for every 15 minutes you are late past closing.
Flea Policy
If your pet has fleas, they will receive a flea bath. There is a $7.00 charge for this service. We need to make sure that the school premises stay free of fleas.
VACCINATION POLICY
We require that dogs be up to date on Rabies, Parvovirus, and Bordetella vaccines and cats be up to date on Rabies vaccine. If your pet is not up to date on these vaccines, we will be unable to schedule an appointment. You can either bring a copy of vaccination records to your appointment or your veterinarian can either email or fax records to us.
Medications & Sedatives
We are unable to groom your pet if they have been given any sedative prescribed by your veterinarian. This is for the safety of your pet and the students. If you are concerned about your pet’s behavior for the grooming process, please consult us prior to your appointment.
Additionally, we are unable to administer any medications or flea/tick treatments. If your pet is currently taking antibiotics, please notify us before your appointment as we may need to reschedule until your pet has finished their medications.
Lastly, if your pet has been vomiting, has diarrhea, or has developed new or abnormal coughing, sneezing, runny eyes or nose, please let us know before you show up to your appointment. We will want to reschedule to a time when your pet is feeling better.
