About the School
The Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology (MSCC) was founded by Dina Perry and has been teaching the art of pet grooming since 1986. In 1991 Sandy Cook became the School’s Director. Sandy and Dina worked together until 1996 when Sandy purchased the school and took over operations. Since then, Sandy has continued to offer a higher level of education to students learning how to become pet groomers by providing a knowledgeable staff and state of the art equipment. In 2011, she made the decision to buy a building and move the location of the school to be able to expand the opportunities the school has to offer. In recognition of her efforts, she won an award from an area Business Association for her renovations and improvement to the community.
