MSCC was born in 1986 and the school was founded by Dina Perry. In 1991 Sandy Cook became the School's Director. Sandy and Dina worked together until 1996 when Sandy purchased the school and took over operations. Since then, Sandy has continued to offer a higher level of education to students learning how to become pet groomers by providing a knowledgeable staff and state of the art equipment. In 2011, she made the decision to buy a building and move the location of the school to be able to expand the opportunities the school has to offer. In doing this she won an award from an area Business Association for her renovations and improvement to the community.
The MSCC staff has been put together to offer our students a wide variety of knowledge that has been gained over several years in various areas of the animal industry. Staff members have previous experience working in veterinary practices, grooming salons, mobile grooming vans, shelters, training and handling and doggie daycares. MSCC staff members also attend continuing education seminars located across the country several times a year to assure that they are up to date on new trends in the industry.
